About Us

 Our Vision

Tread The Boards is an independent performing arts school with a personal, friendly approach, based in York since 2006. Our aim is to increase the confidence of every child and young person in our classes, helping them to achieve their ambitions not only as performers but in every aspect of life.

We are proud to see our pupils progress through the classes, developing as confident individuals and performers and making lasting friendships. Many also appear in theatre productions and films – our local knowledge allows us to keep you informed of auditions and opportunities at the earliest opportunity.
